Who We Are
The Witches of the Veiled Crow
The Veiled Crow is a woman-owned business founded in 2009, hopping around and doing markets until it dropped down into its first retail space in 2011, becoming one of the oldest witchcraft shops in Rhode Island. It was created as a direct response to the fractured spiritual community that was Rhode Island at the time by filling the need for a witchcraft shop that did not just import items, but the magickal products were made by practitioners for practitioners, as well as providing a safe place for people, regardless of experience, to ask questions and seek information to help them find their authentic path. We wanted to offset the rigidity and gatekeeping qualities of traditionalism with the belief that witchcraft is a living, breathing entity that transcends and molds with the different generations.

Tracey Lawrence
is a weaver of realities, a Witch and Sorceress who works with the seen and the unseen. With the discerning eye of a lifelong entrepreneur and over thirty years immersed in the strategic world of corporate design and merchandising, she co-owns the Veiled Crow. Grounded by a strong foundation in the business world, Tracey is the vital, often unseen, force that helps to support the Crow's flight. Her influence extends into the very fabric of the community as a founding member of the Key + Serpent Society and a guiding presence in the Day of Witchery.
Tracey’s wisdom is drawn from deep wells. A dedicated practitioner of Modern Traditional Witchcraft, she continually explores the occult from ancient mysteries to modern philosophies. For more than a decade, she has walked the intricate pathways of the Tarot, her classically trained intuition illuminating destinies with both clarity and empathy. As a practitioner of the ancient art of palmistry, she studied through Stonebridge Associated Colleges and with local and national teachers. This further enhances Tracey’s unique vision, allowing her to decipher the stories held within both the potential and the manifested hand.
Tracey’s artistic spirit finds form in mixed media, a tangible expression of her inner world. Her diploma from the Manufacturing Silversmiths of America in Jewelry Design and Making speaks to a mastery where intention and artistry coalesce. Combining her love of collage and assemblage art, she sets her imagination free and creates shrines and wall hangings in her home overlooking the water on the coast of Rhode Island.
