Experience the empowering ritual of Persephone taking her throne - followed by dancing the night away in the ballroom to the mythpunk music of The Nathaniel Johnstone Band and the beats from our Underworld DJ that will move you in both body and spirit. Partake in the wonders of the psychic parlor and be delighted by the offerings of our Elysian Fields Market artisans and silent auction. Enjoy our catered light feast for all souls and full cash bar featuring special Hades-themed drinks. Encounter living myths and mysteries throughout the evening, visit the Cauldron of Annwyn for a calm respite, and take a photo with Cerberus. All taking place throughout the historic landmark Casino at Roger Williams Park – built in 1896 - a fantastic example of elegant Colonial Revival architecture.

Persephone Rising Ball: The Coronation of a Dark Queen is an extravagant and elegant affair, therefore all attendees are expected to adhere to the dress code for the best immersive experience. This is an Elegant Costume meets Creative Black Tie event. W

-Elegant, thoroughly considered costuming that does NOT include masquerade masks. You may look to gods and goddesses for inspiration, underworld mythology, courtly attire from medieval, renaissance, regency, Victorian, etc.

What is NOT Allowed: casual streetwear such as jeans, t-shirts, sneakers, or club attire. No masquerade/full face masks for security purposes (N95/health-related masks etc are fine.) The dress code will be strictly enforced; you will not be admitted if you show up and are not dressed appropriately for a formal costume event, and no refund will be given.
